Nottinghamshire Biodiversity Action Group
Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire Biodiversity Action Group is a partnership of voluntary, statutory and community groups working together to conserve and enhance the wildlife of Nottinghamshire to the benefit of people.
The Notts BAG partnership currently runs multiple projects across the county, all of which aim to conserve Nottinghamshire’s biodiversity using a variety of different methods. Most projects involve practical conservation work and are carried out by groups of volunteers, such as managing invasive species or creating suitable habitat for Grizzled Skipper populations.
The partnership also utilises GIS software to identify areas of biodiversity importance as part of the Biodiversity Opportunity Mapping project.
