Wild Peak Housing Co-op is a a rural housing co-operative in Belper, Derbyshire, working for environmental and social change.
Wild Peak Housing Co-op was established in 2004 with the aim of co-operatively providing a home for people working and / or volunteering for environmental change – see our aims & principles for more information. Currently our membership is involved both in environmental and wider social change work.
We all strongly believe that working and living co-operatively is an exciting, radical and positive way we could be doing things. We have weathered many challenges and find this to be a resilient way of living.
Our current members (as of Aug 2023) are eight adults (three couples) and one teenager.
We are a member of Radical Routes, a network of housing and worker co-operatives working for radical social change.
