Nottingham Greenpeace – monthly meet-up

Come along to our new venue and hear about the plans we have for our exciting new campaign – Operation Climate Vote.

A general election is coming, as soon as next year, and it’s our best shot at winning serious climate action. So Greenpeace is uniting the British public to push the government – whoever that may be – to take climate change seriously.

This is Operation Climate Vote. Street by street, town by town, we’re going to recruit a million climate voters. Climate voters commit to prioritise climate when they cast their vote. A vote for climate is also a vote for cheaper bills, a vote for better health, a vote for the future.

It’s all about having conversations with your local community about what matters to them most – and sharing the amazing solutions already available. From your nan to your postman, let’s connect with our neighbours and join together to vote for climate!

We will meet at Shop Zerø – the zero waste shop just off the Market Square. It has a great meeting room downstairs with plenty of space, toilet and kitchen facilities (we can make tea and coffee!). It should be a nice place to meet.

We aim to get through the business by 7pm and retire to a local pub for a social chat.
