This film on the climate & nature crisis, presented by Chris Packham, is screening in communities & workplaces across the UK. It aims to raise awareness of the climate crisis and build public support for emergency measures to counteract the changes happening here, right now.
The National Emergency Briefing
On 27 November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed an invited audience of more than 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media in Westminster. This was the National Emergency Briefing.
The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy, and did so on the public record.
Its purpose was to demonstrate what a clear, evidence-led national emergency briefing could look like and why it is needed.
Local Screenings – The People’s Emergency Briefing
Communities and organisations are using a free-to-screen 50-minute film (The People’s Emergency Briefing), based on the Westminster event, to brief the UK public about the climate and nature crisis. Screenings in village halls, cinemas, faith spaces and workplaces are bringing constituents, civic leaders and MPs together to hear the evidence – and consider what an emergency response should look like.
How To Help
The National Emergency Briefing exists to help create a societal tipping point towards the action now required. You can help make it happen.
You can help by organising a screening, spreading the word, or viewing the briefing yourself.
