Community RePaint – paint recycling scheme

Community RePaint is a UK wide paint reuse network who collect leftover paint and redistribute it to individuals and groups in the community.  The network is made up of over 80 schemes from the Isle of Wight to the Scottish Highlands with a common goal of promoting reuse and saving waste.

Beeston Community RePaint is at the Veolia recycling centre – more info here

But it doesn’t stop there – they also remanufacture our own brand of paint called ReColour, available in larger volumes for bigger projects.  ReColour is made from the same surplus and leftover paint which is filtered, blended and treated to produce a ‘nearly new’ product.

Paint from their schemes has been used to brighten playgrounds, community centres, homes, festivals, schools and other spaces around the UK for over 30 years.  Visit the link below to find your nearest scheme and join us on the mission to end paint waste.

75% of DIYers guess how much paint they need

Calculating the right amount of paint you need for a project will help reduce the 50 million litres of paint which get wasted each year. If you do have leftover paint at the end of your project you can give it to your local scheme by finding your nearest collection point.
