People Planet Pint is a relaxed monthly meetup for anyone interested in sustainability, concerned about the future and keen to do something positive about it. Come along to meet local people, share ideas, hear what’s already happening in Nottingham and find practical ways to get involved – all over a drink, with no lectures, judgement or jargon.

Our audience is the persuadable middle: the quietly concerned who aren’t acting yet, feeling alienated and unwelcome in other spaces. They are the everyday “normal” people outside of the sustainability bubble.
We don’t need to convince those who are already committed to the cause, and we don’t need to waste our energy on climate deniers and those seeking to delay action. Panels and presentations don’t change behaviour – conversations do.
There are millions of people in the UK alone who want to see a better future made possible today, and that starts by us getting them into the pub to talk about it.
